Rat and Chopper in the Fuel Roads.

A busy morning down at Seven Mills, looking over from the Mills Lane Bridge. Resident 08, No 08173 works down the Yard, with 37183 and 37206 on the Fuel Roads, in the background on the Middle Road is 33012 with a single Fuel Tank. In the far distance is 37081, Loch Long in the old Engineers Siding and 47199 waiting to leave the Wagon Yard. Directly below me was a pair of Rats parked in the Goods Loop over night, so probably 25285 and 25054.

I see you mentioned an 'old shed' - new ones are usually better - just watch the 'bye-laws'.  

Glen Roy, dare I say it,  is not looking quite so good now and the state of Fiddlers Yard I know not.  Deesdale Road is still going and potentially has a booking subject to Covid.

Hi Peter, More booking for Deesdale Road, that's good news mate. I know Graham had wrecked Fiddlers Yard last time I saw it, he had painted all the Track with a tar like matt black paint. Last time I saw GLENFINICK the back scene was being re painted in the wrong green, and it looked pretty bad.

Your work on Cadley Hill has been superb mate, well done.

A quick look over the wall from Yard Lane this morning and I captured the Heritage Black 08, No 13006 moving the Warwell about.

And on the way home from my walk, I looked over MIlls Lane Bridge, and 13003 was then worrying a couple of Railfreight OAA's in the Goods Loop.

Back an hour later and 47199 is back for Fuel with Raty Rat, No 25054 stabled behind.

37081, Loch Long, waits in Seven Mills Sidings for it's first call to duty since a re spray.

N gauge yes but not Scottish layouts, you will only be told off because you have the rozzers in the wrong clothes.

Do they do N Gauge Policemen? I thought Policemen had to be over a certain height.

 

Anyway, had a measure up, and no room for N with the O Gauge in place, let alone OO.

This morning I've tried to up load several different images, but keep getting an ERROR message, most strange, I'll try again later.

This is one of the images I tried to up load yesterday, it appears IT WASN'T MY FAULT.

 

Anyway a pair of Choppers in the old Engineering Siding.

Looks like 37206  with the empty Catfish is held at the Signal in the Goods Loop from the Top Yard.

Sitting in the Goods Loop from the Top Yard, is 08173 and 37186, whilst a pair of Choppers sit in No 2 Fuel Road.

Thats a shame ... this may be a non-starter for you Andy, but as its the layouts you enjoy building, is there anything on the diorama side that you could fit in, and build in such a way, that having enjoyed building it, and posed some stock on it for pictures, you could then sell it on?

 

Diorama's might not be your cup of tea, but just a thought, as something to do?

Funny you should say that Rich, haha, I now have a Plan, but I won't know the details for another couple of weeks. I think I have an area about 6ft x x1ft, so planning has begun, but it will depend on a couple of factors which will dictate what I actually do in the area. More details will follow once I know whether it will be O, or OO.

Watch this space, it will be as you said, more diorama than than running, but will be extendable and sellable.
