We are hoping that production will be completed within the next month or so. Once production has been completed we will then have a better idea of when the models will arrive in the UK. We will of course keep everyone updated with further progress. Thank you for your update. Best wishes John

Popular Post Grimleygrid
We are delighted to announce that our second model, the BBA long steel carrier wagon, has arrived in the U.K. Following the release of our first model, the well-received 1:76 scale PGA hopper wagon, we are really pleased to see the production models of our first bogie wagon design in the flesh. A lot of time and effort was spent researching the BBA wagon in order to best replicate the features and finer details of the prototype in the design of our model. We felt that it was very important to continue evolving and using innovation to bring a new approach to our models. We feel that this has been achieved and can be seen in the photos below showing the fine details that have been incorporated in these models, including: - Etched mesh deck, - Prototypical replica bogie (a first on a 4mm RTR wagon), - Fully detailed underframe, - Detailing pack including: Additional brake callipers for easy EM/P4 conversion, Steps, Screw link couplings, Brake pipes, NEM blanking plate (another first on a 4mm wagon), and additional brass stanchions. More detail on the wagons can be found here on our website: https://www.cavalexmodels.com/august-2020-update We also wanted to thank everyone that has supported the project to date. We will be working our way through the orders and dispatching the models to customers as soon as practically possible. We can't wait to see the wagons on customer's layouts! The stanchions were designed to be produced in brass so that they could be reshaped as per the prototype. Yes the BLAs have also arrived. Hope that helps. 2
