This looks really interesting - incredible that you have managed to attract so much trade for a first show? Some interesting names there, alongside many of the usual suspects.

But no Roundhouse stand or Garden Railways Specialists booked yet?

Thank you, we have tried to get a balanced festival, by inviting traders, who can bring something differnt to the Festival, and as to your question, Everyone was asked,

Is it in addition to or instead of the Welshpool event in September?

Hi ColinK

It's completely separate, so additional,

We are independent, just a group of Garden railway enthusiasts, who wanted to do a Garden railway festival, the Royal International Llangollen pravillion, seems a ideal venue for it, given its location, to both the railway and cannle, and world famous aqaduct ect seem a logical choice, we hope you agree, and join us.

Mike

Looking forward to going to this and meeting up with and seeing a few old faces and having a great day out ;) Are you and your fellow group of garden railway enthusiast posting any of your garden railway threads/topics on here? As i'd love to see them. Or are they to be seen elsewhere such as on Facebook?:search:

Hi Bob,

We are all  active garden railway enthusiasts, most of us have our own lines, the one with out is just moved house, so we let him off..

I'm on g scale Central, as Mike, and mines called

Lazy Grange Bay,

Its my 3rd attempt at getting what I can see clearly in my head, in the garden.. Its a Lancashire village set in the 50s/60s.. With a narrow gauge railway running through it.. If the Welshpool and landfair can get away with using continental stock, I reckon I can too.. As with everything.. Its a work in progress..

Hi Mike! :) Well having Mikes enthusiasm and experience with the G scale society shows explains the breadth of traders.

GRS has scaled back their involvement in shows pre this so not particularly surprising they haven’t jumped in. Might be worth sending them some flyers with all the other traders listed ;)

Good luck, I’m taking a layout to a show elsewhere so can’t make it.
