RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted January 6, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 6, 2022 Glad to hear that the show is going ahead and I wish you well, but for the first time in a number of years I shall be unable to attend, due to a prior rebooked weekend in Belgium. Looking forward to '23.
RMweb Gold queensquare Posted January 7, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 7, 2022 Great to see it back, sadly that's Glastonbury weekend so we will miss our first Railex in years. I hope it's a massive success and we will be back in 2023 Jerry
wainwright1
Unfortunate date as it will clash with the Bluebell Railway Model Railway Show if that goes ahead on its usual weekend. We have a layout provisionally booked. Ray
St. Simon
Hi David, If you are looking for layouts, Collingwood should be available by then. Simon

Popular Post David Bigcheeseplant
Unfortunately We have had to cancel Railex 2022, as previously mentioned although our normal date in late May was unavailable we were offered another date in June which we then booked, only to be told by the stadium yesterday that the new date had been double booked. To say we are frustrated is a bit of an understatement. Many of of our stadium team who we have worked with since 2005 have in the last year moved on, as in the past had a rolling contract for our usual weekend. We have now booked the stadium for Railex 2023 and hope to see you there 27 & 28 May. David

David Bigcheeseplant
“RAILEX 2022 is still on! News of Railex 2022’s demise was a premature! Although, owing to a double booking, we have lost our traditional venue at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium we are keen to run the show if at all possible. Judging by the comments received that’s what the viewing public want too. Therefore, we are looking at alternative venue options. So keep the date and watch this space.” 14

David Bigcheeseplant
We looked at many different venues some quite a distance from Aylesbury and were unable to find any suitable replacement, so we decided to cancel Railex 2022 and put all the effort into Railex 2023 which will be at Stoke Mandeville Stadium on our usual late May bank holiday weekend. 2 2 2
