Northpoint
If anyone is going to Nottingham next weekend you will see Haston joined up to North Point or Point du Nord, Quebec as it will be known for the weekend Not sure how they are going to operate together but it should be fun I'm sure we'll sort something out before Saturday.. I've still got to work out how to raise mine to the level of Haston!

shortliner
I hope they don't have to crew change and swap locos at the border - that would make life difficult!
trisonic
Customs will be Ok - but the full ICE Homeland Security team armed to the teeth could be an issue.......... Best, Pete
Chris Gilbert
Not sure it worked too well as we both needed to use the fiddle yard at the same time Tomorrow we are going to swap the flags and operate each others layout and see if any one notices I've also got a Hornby 08 that could put in a visit .... Prof Klyzlr
Dear RMWebbers, At the risk of asking someting silly, is there any info already posted on North Point as a standalone layout, or in it's "paired config" with Naston? Interested in the trackplan and ops... Happy Modelling, Aim to Improve, Prof Klyzlr
F-UnitMad
Dear Prof, as far as I know the only other info on this version of RMweb is in this Thread... It was a very different-looking layout a few years ago - Urban US Terminal, operated from the other side. I operated it like that at a Show in 2008; unless Nick had very patiently explained the changes I would not have recognised the current set-up as being the same layout at all...
