George Woodcock
Hello Thanks for the nice comments. A few more trees have been planted since the pictures were taken. Hopefully next week all the point rodding should be in place. The rake of tanks wagons in some of the pictures are in 'as bought' condition. They will be fitted with S Kits single ladder etched walkways, pepainted and renumbered to represent a late 70s Esso train. A rake of Tunnel liveried Presflos also to follow. Most of the rolling stock we now possess but there are few gaps to fill, at least to get us through the first exhibitin at Stafford next February. After that we have nearly ayear before it's next show to complete the job. Cheers George

Nobby (John)
A few photos, may not look much different, but there has been some foliage added, point rodding completed, and yard lights added. Still some signage to do, signals and some static grass to be added.

RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted September 23, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 23, 2013 Is it me, or have you toned down the pink....? Cheers, Mick It is a pity Towcester wasn't an LNER station because George and Nobby could have had 60108 and 60099 to complement the signal box. RMweb Premium newbryford Posted September 23, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 23, 2013 George and Nobby could have had 60108 and 60099 to complement the signal box. 60099 was "Ben More Assynt". Didn't think there was a 60108.......................... Oh - you mean water boilers........... Cheers, Mick

Nobby (John)
Off to George's today to lay track in the fiddle yards and to see what additional scenery had been added. Arrived to find a couple of posed trains, 33 on cement and 46 on mail vans. This could be a large diorama until we wire up the points and build a control panel!! RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted October 13, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 13, 2013 Hi Nobby Have you seen the problem the other Towcester is having http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/72904-towcester-1930-50/?p=1188932 The prospect Mr Disinherited of Marked Half-price helping dirve Towcester doesn't seem too bad compared with invasion Mike has had.
Nobby (John)
Hi Clive I've just had my annual invasion of cluster flies in my loft where my home layout Norton Town is, smoke bombed the little blighters over the weekend and hoovered up about 1000 of the little devils. At least I will now be clear until the same time next year.............
