rockershovel
Re Blazing Saddles Oscar nominations, I can't see how anyone would expect to get a look in against Madeleine Kahn's "Frenchy" / Marlene Deitrich impression... Actually, I don't think Cleavon Little was even half-way to a nomination, given the storm of parody, self-parody (Slim Pickens!) "authentic frontier gibberish" and outrageous ham raging around him... Jenny Emily
Fistful of fingers was one I remember from quite a while ago. I saw it at university because some-one I knew there was in it, and took great delight at flashing his VHS copy around. Never seen it since. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Fistful_of_Fingers

Guest CLARENCE
Does anyone remember "The Hallelujah Trail" from 1965? I still think it's the funniest western ever made, so there. Burt Lancaster as the straight man, and Donald Pleasence in his funniest role. Great movie!
