Looks like part of the metal crash barrier on the left of the truck. From the front end damage, it could have hit the barrier end on at one of the works access points, possibly if forced out of lane by another vehicle. The black slick on the hard shoulder looks to be the truck's sump oil, and the front steering axle is pushed right back into the fuel tank area, so there's probably terminal damage to the tractor unit. No visible sign of any other vehicle débris trapped under there.T

 

The trailer looks undamaged, and I guess that as the locomotive is still upright and secured, it shouldn't have received any damage.

Replacement engine, front bumper, cab steps and possibly one or two other bits and that'll be back on the road. As for 80072 I'd be very surprised if there is any damage although an inspection will, inevitably, be needed.
