RMweb Premium ELTEL Posted October 16, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 16, 2016 We can now announce that Wigan 2017 will not be held on the 7th & 8th October as previously advertised but instead a week earlier, Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October. This has been made possible by the Leigh Exhibition moving to early September due to a venue problem which means that our moving wont be treading on their toes. Discussions with our Leigh colleagues has hopefully opened up an avenue of mutual benefit which may be a positive outcome from all this uncertainty. Also we have had very fruitful discussions with Mike Wild, Editor of the Hornby Magazine, who has offered us promotional space within the magazine and their possible presence at our Exhibition for which we are very grateful. All things considered we are very pleased with the outcome and particularly with the help and assistance we have been given to overcome what initially appeared a serious problem. Obviously there is still some rearranging to sort out concerning the participation of the trade and the availability of the layouts we have previously booked, but things are looking considerably more upbeat. However I hasten to add this is a temporary solution and that in 2018 we will be reverting back to the first weekend in October as the Hornby Magazine reverts back to the second weekend.. Great News Terry
