Jol Wilkinson
Been supplied by London Road Models for years. £1.30 for five. http://traders.scalefour.org/LondonRoadModels/various/components/ The proprietor's former wife ran a beauticians, which is where he "discovered" them and was probably the first to make them available at shows, etc. You can buy them cheaper in 50s or 100's but I find that they last for years (providing you don't use nasty fluxes) so you don't need that sort of quantity). Dolls house clothes pegs are also useful. They have a stronger grip but are shorter and don't open as widely.
RMweb Gold ROSSPOP Posted May 26, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 26, 2016 " if you count your pennies the pounds will solder themselves" In my world they remain the most versatile modellers mate !!! Try doing this with a wooden peg or a bulldog clip !!!!!

dasatcopthorne
Be careful. There are two types. One I would call shiny steel and the other aluminium. Get the latter. Dave
