The most usefull soldering / clamping tool..... Has it gone forever ?

Been supplied by London Road Models for years. £1.30 for five.

The proprietor's former wife ran a beauticians, which is where he "discovered" them and was probably the first to make them available at shows, etc.

 

You can buy them cheaper in 50s or 100's but I find that they last for years (providing you don't use nasty fluxes) so you don't need that sort of quantity).

 

Dolls house clothes pegs are also useful. They have a stronger grip but are shorter and don't open as widely.

Try doing this with a wooden peg or a bulldog clip !!!!!
