I hope Uncle Pawsea (of this parish)…gets his Q6 coaled and weathered in time for the Manchester Christmas show this year…no pressure Pawsea, but you just have to share the sounds it makes as it slips and slithers it’s way up from South Pelaw…

Test painting from yesterday a.m. still hasn't dried so it's looking doubtful.

As you know, it is coaled. Just enough to get back up to the MPD at Consett.

Manchester is my local exhibition. This year, I prefer it to NEC. The reason?
This superb layout is going. I'll be the fat bald Manc watching it for most of Sunday. I hope you have a great show!!
Regards,
Chris.

Thanks Chris, hopefully we can put on a good show.  As it happens, we are due to be at the NEC next year.

The South Pelaw Group had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the Manchester show last weekend.  I didn't take any video myself but I've found a couple on YouTube that have some footage of the layout:

From 10:54 onwards:

And from 3:50 here (that's me with the grey top on behind the monitors).:

Many thanks for finding these videos, South Pelaw looks amazing, (as does the rest of the Manchester Show)

I still hope to see this exhibit one day, but I'm based in Devon.  How far south might to be exhibiting in the future?

Many thanks, Dave.

South Pelaw was he best layout at Manchester.
This fat old Manc spent some happy hours immersed in the layout. I had a great chat with some of the operators. I'm sorry I didn'st ask your names, but you were great.
A superb experience.
I may even go to Warley next year , to see it again.
Regards,
Chris.

We are currently booked for Warley next year but that’s as far south as we have booking for as it stands.

Hi John,

this is a superb layout which sadly i could not get to see at Manchester.

Could you do me a favour and give me via PM some contact details

for Tony Lambert if he is willing? I would like to purchase some digital copies of his photos in

the North East?

Regards,

Trev Scott.
