Gordon A
Just come home along the flyover over the Feeder and saw what I think is a green Duchess with maroon support coach on St Phillips Marsh. Can any one confirm please? Gordon A

LMS2968
Obviously that rich coal diet tripped the balance!
Gordon A
Thanks for the replies and the link chaps. It is good to see one of the most impressive passenger engines at work. What is the steam exhaust from the back of the tender? Is the Duchess fitted with a coal pusher in the tender? Gordon A

Chameleon
Think there's a photo of it being turned at St Blazey with much overhang and millimetres to spare in wheelbase. (I believe they had to demolish a fence for clearance) Also, I think the air pump for the brakes is stashed in the tender so the steam coming from the tender would most likely be that. LMS2968
The air pump is most definitely between the frames ('6233 DUCHESS OF SUTHERLAND' Brell Ewart and Brian Radford (2002) The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust, Ashbourne). 6233 has a working coal pusher. Chameleon
I'm trying to remember which has the air pump in the tender? Is it Clan line?
