Dr Gerbil-Fritters
Time for a rogue's gallery. These are all in semi retirement as I am on a break from US modelling at the moment. SD40T-2, 16-645E3 SD40M-2, 17-645E3 SD38-2, 16-645E SD38-2, 16-645E MP15AC, 12-645E SD40T-2, 16-645E3 GP38, 16-645E and I am madly searching for one of these. Another EMD winner, a J22CW with a 12-645EC3 prime mover...
Bagpuss
I think my current EMD roster is: EMD demonstrator SD80MAC (maroon) Chessie GP40-2 BN whiteface SD60M BN SD70MAC BN whiteface GP15 Great Northern SDP45 Conrail SD60M Conrail SD70MAC Conrail SD70I Conrail SD80MAC PRR SD35 Wisconsin Central SDL39 Metra F40PH Amtrak F40PH I'd like to see a photo of that SDL39. One day, I'll build the Kaslo kit I have on the future projects shelf.
F-UnitMad
Dr G-F; your Patched Pair of BNSF Geeps are just sublime. Wonderful models. For now, this will have to do for a photo of two of my EMDs; an Atlas GP35, & a kitbashed Weaver/Atlas GP40, in O scale.

Bagpuss
Rubbish pic I'm afraid, but here is my SDL39. Nice. What's the heritage? Overland? Kaslo? Custom build?
RMweb Premium jjb1970 Posted November 10, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 10, 2016 Nice. What's the heritage? Overland? Kaslo? Custom build? This is an Overland model, it is the factory painted version. These are quite rare as I think they did one run of Wisconsin Central models, some were unpainted, some were custom painted by OMI and some were factory painted, however some sources only list the custom painted ones and seem unaware that they did some factory painted ones. SD45T-2
One I forgot about - there's an ALCo brass SD40 High Hood with a custom Norfolk Southern paint job that's now in the Commonwealth of Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanake VA. Allegheny1600
I do like a nice "Centennial", one of the few UP models I'd consider keeping! However, some folk might find them too big - in which case, how about this? Ha, ha, ha! I must also show that I do have some taste! (in certain quarters!) A pair of Stewart F units but in a really classy scheme! John.

w124bob
Well the R&W has to exchange with someone, so here is a small selection of from the class1 department. Not yet posted are SD45-2, SD50 SD60 and a GP40-2 from CSX and a pair of Conrail loco's, GP15-1 and a GP38-2. The UP GP15-1 has no real place on the R&W, I just like GP15's!
DanielB
Oh lord, where to start? Most of them are N scale, though a few are HO. F3 - repainted Kato GP18 - Lifelike GP40 - Atlas GP9 - repainted Atlas MP15DC and SD24 - Atlas F7 A+B - Bachmann EsPee fleet: 3 SD9's, 2 GP40's and a GP20: GP20 - repainted Lifelike (I sense another repaint on the horizon here) SD35 - Atlas SD45 and GP30 - repainted Bachmann and Atlas GP38-2's - Atlas GP30 - Atlas mechanism, BigDawg resin shell I'm sure there are more, somewhere. RMweb Premium skipepsi Posted December 18, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 18, 2016 DanielB. Living proof that "There is no such thing as Too Many Locos" Glad to hear that just added a sound Alco RS 27 in SOO white and red to my collection.... layout still not working but now have 36 locos in total...
DanielB
No such thing as too many locos. That said, I find that in N scale I need loads more locos due to the extra real estate I have in that scale. On the flip side, in O scale I've only got 2 locos, 4 freight cars and a Caboose. Though two of those freight cars are roof hatch ice reefers - they're going to get turned into grounded car style yard offices, and the underframe and trucks will end up with scratchbuilt bodies - probably a pair of 40' hi-cube boxcars. Still, gotta build an O scale layout for that first... Edited December 19, 2016 by DanielB
