Stanier 2P 0-4-4T drawing

I put a Roadrunner+ in one for a client. Because it was 00 the frames were too close together and the Roadrunner lifted the motor high enough to clear them. The plus also allows you the drive the rear coupled axle but keep the motor out of the cab - I used a Mashima 1220.

Hi David,

I built (well, still not quite finished detailing the body, I really should do so soon...) the London Road Models kit here:

http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/97369-kit-build-lrm-lms-2p-0-4-4t-p4/

I think I used the High Level Hi flyer - but will double check this and confirm.  Beware of the drawing in the Modeller, I think it is that one which has the cab opening drawn wrong (and which is copied by the LRM kit unfortunately - part of the reason my build stalled), but the LMS Journal mentioned by Mike is an excellent and detailed resource, and there are quite a few photos around online.

Cheers,

Cheers,

The magazine is in the post, I'll check and the kit against the LMSJ when it arrives. Thanks for the heads up.
