Hello,

thank you very much for your explanations. in fact I don't know exactly when to use or not to use the brake van. a French friend who worked for the BR when he was young told me that it was necessary to place them at the back of trains... but he worked for the BR in the 60’/70’…

Hello all,

and Happy New Year !

the first RETB signals are implemented and functional.

I made these signals myself with plastic card, my printer, diodes and resistors.

  • AY Mod changed the title to From Glasgow to the Sea

The signs look good Alain, they would make an interesting video showing them working.

Personally I would have expected Father Christmas to be on the ground frame pulling the signal levers rather than in the cess. I hope that his PTS (personal tack safety) is up to date!

Father Christmas was waiting for the elves and he was so discreet that the railway staff didn't even notice his presence

Thank you very much Rob. 😃

P.S. in UK you say Father Christmas 🎅 and not Santa Claus ?

Good evening everyone,

Well, my Christmas vacation is over... 😢

I took advantage of this Sunday afternoon to make a little “event” video on reaching 3000 subscribers on LVTV. The opportunity also to present my MK1 sleeper cars newly weathered by TMC. I had these unweathered coaches from my first months in UK modeling and I thought it would be nice to weathere them to bring them up to the level of the rest of my UK rolling stock.

So thank you to the 3000 subscribers and Happy New Year! 🎅🎄

Hello all,

The DMU class 108 from Bachmann was horrible to open, and especially terrible to close. After installing the sound decoder (Loksound v4) and the passengers, I experienced a real nightmare to replace the body on the chassis... there was some breakage (a little) a lot of accessories came off, it was really horrible and it all took me several hours… 🙁

Hello all,

many projects in this time and less time for my Scottish layout. I took advantage of the weekend to exploit my layout and take photos and videos.

have a good evening.
