Bonjour Alain

(That's a brilliant layout! I particularly like the way you have done it, with the separate scenes. Very effective.

It's quite rare to see a French person modelling scenes of Scotland. But there are plenty of British in France who are building British layouts. Will you be exhibiting the layout somewhere, or will it just stay at home?)

Cheers!

Mike

(Sorry if the French is poor - I speak and read it more than I ever write it.....)

Thank you for your nice comment and your french writing Mike.

No, exhibiting the layout somewhere at this time.

I hope we will have the opportunity to discuss this topic here or elsewhere

Hi Alain

Just been catching up on your thread and WOW you have been busy. Love the look of the new layout with the different modules and all superbly modelled. My particular favourite is the timber sidings with the fishing boat and the light house. Just oozes that Western Highlands feeling. Very tranquil and peaceful.

Excellent work as always mate.

All the best

Cheers

Marcus

I took advantage of some extended weekends for more advanced module 4. It still remains to place signals and electrical cabinets, characters, road vehicles, 1 or 2 trees, the layout of the platforms, and without doubts some other details.

Hello,

Here are some images of everyday scenes at Crosshill Station. Little by little the platforms come alive and the layout module comes to life, even if some details remain to be realized.

Great !  :good:

Can I use this photo on my blog?

Yes, you are very welcome to use the photo.

Here is another photo taken on the same day.  After we arrived at Kyle of Lochalsh, 37114 proceeded to shunt a few ballast wagons before powering the return passenger train to Inverness.
