Popular Post KNP
Tree renovation time, yesterday and today. What I call my prime trees, ie the ones in the foreground by their very nature are subject to damage but I accepted that to get the positioning and view blocking I was after. They are fitted loose so this has saved some damage but not when woolly jumpers and grandchildren are around. So they where beginning to annoy me as I could see the damage in the pictures so I decided to repair them. Using an old seafoam tree (never through scenic items away as they will always end up with another use!!) I replaced missing branches, cut the donor tree into sprigs, fitted them and then sprinkled on some new fresh scatter to old and new sprigs held in place with some firm hold hairspray. The three trees done and back on the layout. I was amazed how much had fallen/knocked off the one by the creamery - basically a new tree!!! Winslow Boy
You can tell it's a quiet day as the Buddleia hasn't grown. Do like that grime on the wagon. Just the right shade of green. 1 2
Popular Post KNP
A view back along the viaduct but there was danger in this picture but it has been fixed by the Doctor!! All is now safe for your viewing! Through untold adventures at the time of the making of this layout an advent occurred that shook the very fabric of this world.... I am talking of course about... A tear in the space time continuum Just prior to posting this is what I saw But going to Affinity (and beyond) the Doctor was able to repair the tear (behind the tree by the cattle wagon for those of you not in colour) and make the world safe again.... Model railwaying at its most dangerous? 26 4 8
MrWolf
Neatly done sir. It seems that I have a hole in the ozone layer at either end of the layout, fortunately it's never got any bigger and allows trains to pass into a parallel dimension. 1 1
RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted July 16, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 16, 2023 That’s a relief- I thought it was a vapour trail left by the squadron leader which ended badly !,
Winslow Boy
Nah it'll been the local squire having a pop at some 'flying rats' that's all. Damned pesky things. Pecking at mee potatoes don't you know!

More like the fiddle yard that I haven't redesigned since we moved house.
