Jay Thanks I think I will try this again as it gave a different feel to the picture, a sort of grainy, wash out look. 3

Popular Post KNP
A pair of powerful brutes about to pass. Cardigan Castle awaits the off from platform 1 whilst King Edward V111 sweeps past on the other line on towards Bristol without stopping. Looking at this pictures reminds me I ought to change the twin cities and wording to just the shirt button on the King's tender.
Popular Post KNP
Over the last few weeks I have been redecorating the bathroom and changing a few bits but I have not been idle on the layout either Might be a bit slower than normal but I have working on some new wagons. I released realised I did not have enough company wagons as after all they did have 10's of thousand of them so my open wagon stock needed beefing up. Not only have I added some more (most old second hand Ratio kits of 5 planks) but added some loads as well plus a few tarpaulined ones. More pictures will follow. One question for those in the know, I am right in assuming that the GW rented out their tarpaulins to cover PO wagons? Can't find any pictures though to support my thought. Anyone help? EDIT Spelling alteration as advised..... Edited October 3, 2023 by KNP 39
RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted October 3, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 3, 2023 I'm no expert, but I would have thought not, most PO wagons were for mineral traffic, which doesn't need protection from the elements. The only exception that I can think of was salt, those wagons have rooves. 1 1
RMweb Gold sjrixon Posted October 3, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 3, 2023 I would agree.. PO Wagons are normally mineral, so wouldn't be sheeted..
Winslow Boy
One minor point when you released the wagons did you happen to realise that you had released them or didn't you realise.
