You could always model the derelict house. With scaffolding with a cameo of workers standing around doing nothing. Normal Little Muddle life.

They wouldn't have scaffolding! Too much effort to put that up.

I blame the art snobs for world war two. If they'd let the bohemian corporal study at the Vienna school of art instead of being sneery about his traditionalist style of painting, he might not have had a total wig out and burned half of Europe....

Happy New Year

This picture encapsulates for me, all that I was aiming for when I set up this layout all those years ago.

A train moving through and behind the scenery....

A path wandering who knows where!!

Tranquillity and peacefulness.

You have achieved this and more happy new year from Aylesbury

I feel the urge, when the train has passed  to cross the line through the enticing gate and explore the countryside beyond.

Ah, Tranquillity and peacefulness.

It appears the Little Muddle calendar always resets to 1938 and never moves on to 1939...

By comparison at least 1938 had an illusion of tranquillity and peacefulness.

Or Spain, China, Chile, Afghanistan, Palestine, etc etc.

But here at least there was tranquility.
