Does that mean I should post the Chinese take away update on a Saturday evening I'm working on that at the moment. Thanks for the kind comments Shaun.
Scooby71
The skyline of Drabford behind the station area I think needed something more, as the area to the right looks more busy and built up . So I have decided to make a new low relief warehouse building to fill in the sky area.
Scooby71
Using the same type of embossed stone plasticard as the station building / goods shed. A new attached warehouse is under construction. Cutting out the plasticard and planning where windows are going and other details..

rob D2
I’m going to have to make something similar. My nightmare would be cutting out the windows - what do you use for the curvy bits please ?

Scooby71
A little more progress with the low relief warehouse building. The window frames are now completed, and doors added. The left two windows have been bricked up to add a little more detail. Next job is to make a canopy to go over the loading door. 8

Scooby71
Been a while since I did an update to Drabford, here’s a few pictures of work in progress to the warehouse building . Originally it was planned as a flat roofed building, but I wasn’t happy with it. So I decided to add the apex style roof sections to make it more interesting, and give more height to the background. Popular Post Scooby71
Painting the brick work with a light grey to represent the mortar, and then with a dry brush coat of sandstone colour. A third coat of matt black dry brushed on will be added later to complete the brick work. Edited March 16, 2021 by Scooby71 14 3
RMweb Gold 5BarVT Posted March 16, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 16, 2021 Very nice. I’ve been missing my Drabford ‘fix’! Are the window frames hand cut, home cutter, or bought? (They’re very good however they’ve been done.) Paul.
Scooby71
I have used micro strip for the window bars glued on with Mek Pak . The top arch bricks are from Wills . Bottom sill is thick plastic strip . 7 1
RMweb Gold 5BarVT Posted March 16, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 16, 2021 The cruelty of a close up! If I got that close at an exhibition (remember them?) I’d be escorted off the premises! They look great at viewing distance. Paul. 1

Scooby71
The final part to be added to the warehouse building is a canopy over the large door. I have used a scrap Airfix canopy end with a scratch built roof 5
