Lunchtime and as usual a superb spread brought proceedings to a lull.

Afternoon session now starting. Ops are going well although the 90° crossing is definitely a pinch point ;)

A great event, just like last year.

That's my phone charger left behind under Endoline - I guess if anyone wants it, feel free to take it...

I took one photo. It's not really that great, but here it is.

It's an unbranded thing with a red LED. I'm not too worried about it though, I'm going to have a flat battery long before the next time I see anyone.

I'm only really mentioning it to answer the inevitable "whose is this?" tomorrow afternoon.

Well we we talking about a Northern meet with Ray and Jon. Prob less modules as a few of us could make a holiday out of it for a few days but can't stuff the cars full so maybe just one, possibly two or three small ones.

The organisation of the venue by Nick was excellent as ever and Chris's operation system also worked very well so a big thanks to the Midland crew for hosting and organising the various bits. Special thanks to the ladies for prepping the food and Nick for the stew :)

Agree that the organisation was very good. Thanks to Nick and everyone else involved in organising and providing the modules etc.

Should probably use Facebook for this, but since I don't do Facebook... I thought the "days" sequence was a success, as was the signing up for particular jobs on each day. That may have happened in other places before, but I haven't experienced it myself.

Did you run with the track warrants today, then?

Well yes although it was about a third who seemed to fill them in. Certainly most were getting authority correctly although we did end up with some liberal interpretations of the Yard limits ;)

Very good again and a much faster journey back than up :)

well!!!,that was a cracking weekend, only had time for a few photo's to busy playing trains on a BIG train set, had the pleasure today of running AO33 lakeview turn with Chris Gilbert, after switching all trailing spurs on the way up the branch, we got to the end, run round our train, tied it down and went for beans!!!!,then switched all trailing spurs(with beans sound affects!!) on the way back to Trent yard.
