High ratio gearbox

I am building a couple of yard shunters and wanted to fit very high ratio gearboxes, all the recommendations seam to point the high level kits gearbox but I have been trying to get onto their web site for a couple of week and just getting an error page.

Are they still trading or is it just a web site error

do any of you know of anyone that has any stock for sale or of a good alternative

Yes, his website seems to have gone belly-up.

 

I believe he only sells direct but stand to be corrected.

these may be just what you need - bought for £1.99 each - geared down to 300 rpm max from e-bay go to "geared motors"

I'm fitting this combination to a radio controlled loco. It's a 5:1 gearmotor, driving through a 20:1 worm and gear, giving 100:1, with a further reduction on voltage (it's a 6v unit running off 3.7v)
