Have a look in the relevant volume (tank engines) of the RCTS' B.R. Standard locos.  Unfortunately I don't have access to mine to check at the moment but I'm pretty sure the re-painting dates are in there.  At a guess I'd say all of the N.E. allocated ones were in lined black.  Sorry I can't be more help.

Ray.

This Listing show the WR allocated ones that would have probably been BR Lined Green later in their lives ( all were BR Lined Black when first built ).

http://www.82045.org.uk/82045_allocations.html

It doesn't show the very few that were Plain BR Green though.

Don't take this as gospel though, always try to find a picture of your required loco in the required time period.

I'm sure some kind soul on the forum has a more detailed listing they can post for you too );

It was only WR and I think a SR allocated one (82020) that were painted green. Some unlined.

As asmay2002 says, those particular engines never received green.

82027 was still in BR lined black in 1964. http://www.railwayimagesuk.com/BRITISH-RAILWAYS-1948-1968/BR-STANDARD-STEAM-LOCOS/3MT-2-6-2Ts/i-5bPqwHT

82028 was still in BR lined black in 1966.http://www.railwayimagesuk.com/BRITISH-RAILWAYS-1948-1968/BR-STANDARD-STEAM-LOCOS/3MT-2-6-2Ts/i-6FV3hgf/A

82029 was still in BR lined black in 1967. http://www.railwayimagesuk.com/BRITISH-RAILWAYS-1948-1968/BR-STANDARD-STEAM-LOCOS/3MT-2-6-2Ts/i-DCZs22f/A

To confirm an earlier post, the painting of lesser, ie black, locomotives into green was essentially a Western Region practice, dating from 1957 when the Regions were given a greater degree of autonomy from BR HQ. The Western took to reverting, as far as it could, to GWR livery practice rather more than any other region.

Six green members of the class (82005/6/20/21/32 & 33) were transferred from north Wales to Nine Elms in 1965, one 82032 was failed, and withdrawn en route at Willesden.

The Western Region didn't just revert to GWR practice - they outdid it by lining-out engines that were only plain green under the GW (Manors, Moguls, Prairie tanks etc.)
