JZ
Trying to find out which 1Fs were shedded at Bristol Barrow Road and had full cabs. Picked up one for a bargain price on ebay and the thinking is, if it was at Barrow Rd, it may have got to Green Park and if it got to Green Park, well.......... John_Miles
The Bachman 1F is a 1377 class. The one shown at Barrow Road is a 1121 class. What is the difference? The 1377 class had a 7' 4" and 7' 8" wheelbase, the 1121 class had a 7' 4" and 8' 2" wheelbase. They were also originally built with a different boiler which had a higher pitch and so the front cab windows were higher. Although they were often rebuilt with the same boiler as the 1377 class, the cab window position stayed the same.
Steamport Southport
Pity it wasn't a half cab as there's a fantastic photo of 41706 at Barrow Road. http://www.rail-online.co.uk/p409546733 Jason

John_Miles
Having given you the pedantic answer in my post above, I tend to agree with bike2steam. It's your train set so run what you like.
