wirey33
Thanks 87023Velocity, I wasn't aware of "Mark Your Mark" before. They look like really nice models with a price to match !! The piggy bank might get a shake soon...

RMweb Gold 57xx Posted December 3, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 3, 2017 How do you purchase them. I have heard the quaint old tradition of exchanging money with the proprietor of the business would work.

Martin_R
The Make Your Mark Plasser & Theurer models are superb but I don't think they lend themselves to be easily motorised, I suggest asking Mark Sapsford direct.
wirey33
Motor bogies. Gordon A Aaaaaaaaaaaahh, now I understand. Some people have read “self-propelled” and assumed that I wanted to add a motor. I don’t. I felt like I’d asked for opinions on the weather and someone at the back was shouting “Baked beans on toast” Edited December 4, 2017 by wirey33
crazynitwit
After hearing about how good these models are I had a look and they are good but at £90 odd each they're awfully expensive for plastic kits. tamperman36
This is unfortunately the problem if like myself you like modelling track plant, there is a major lack of rtr plant available and what you can find is usually HO scale so we are left to hunt down kits or scratch build. Its about time this situation was addressed by a big manufacturer please.
