The grey needs a blow over due to seepage and one has gone high in the middle.

Also had some lift on the other side of the DMBC and I also need to do the first class strip.

The cabs are correct dimension wise but look odd.

So next is a little bit of grey, then lining, then numbers, glazing, a couple of underframe bits then I will have a 4mm 120 DMU FINALLY after wanting one for 40 odd years.

And within a year as well!

Work has been bonkers and I have not been too well, it appears I have anemia, so will need to up my B12 intake.

Looks like some acid reflux medicine I have had since the end of Ranitidine has messed my digestive system. I am not able to have PPIs.

Now cold turkeyed the Nit(whatever) H2 inhibitor and ordered some high strength tablets.

DMU is two sides stripped and the etched carriages are coming along.

The 70ft ex GWR BTK is coming along well, roof is glued on just needs handrails and gangways fitted before body primer.

So started the C73 early Sunshine TK, soldering on droplights except door ones.

Tomorrow is hinge drilling, toilet on BTK drilling, handle hole drilling.

Still no energy, but on B12 tablets for now.

DIY has prevented me spraying anything recently.

But I have started on a few wagons.

Got a few Airfix cattle in primer, Coopercraft cattle in primer

GWR Plank van primer

LMS vent van being BRised and assembled

BR (LMS design vent van)

BR Ironstone hopper

LMS Vent van is a Ratio model being forwards dated with extra bracing.

BR Vent van is a Dapol model being rechassied with a Parkside J hanger underframe.

Hopper is new Parkside.

I have downloaded some LMS hoppers which I need to put through the slicer.

Swindon DMU battery boxes

Working on new gas boxes now as casting resin has gone off so will print some.

Then the vacuum tanks.

They are a little simplistic but are a copy of my resin design, just needs a little tidying where they were on the plate.

My rooks failed due to finding another protective sheet on the build plate.

As to my carriages, had paint peel on a GWR TK so will strip one side using tape, then rough it up and respray.

Crimson and Cream is actually a very attractive livery.

As a reminder

1980s BR WR (Lickey route influenced)

Got lots of blue Diesels and Blue Grey stock

1960s BR Branch

2 x 45xx and a NBL type 2, plus getting towards 10 carriages in Maroon or CC

1950s BR Lickey route area

Swindon IC DMU

MR 2P

A few carriages on MR or LMS source.

I still have a few aircon coaches to do, I will be ending up with 4 of the 6 TSOs I need for a West of England set, tiny bit out of area as most aircons I saw in Lickey area were ER.

This set is as far as I recall is a pair of BFKs in the middle with 3 TSOs on each half.

One side was 2D 2E 2F the other  3 x 2E

The DEF side will use 3 Airfix 2Ds with already owned EE frames and Laserglaze.

The E side will start with 2 cut and shut BSOs

2D Mods

Wire Handrails

Smoothed off window frames

Resized window holes

Sanded lower sides

Shortened gangways

Fit frames

Spray and transfer

fit glazing

2E as 2D but

Make door windows smaller

Fill non vent end toilet and cut new one other side

Some interior mods

2E as 2E but

Roof hatch change (use thin plasic card)

remove a few boxes

Use my resin big fan

The BSO conversion will be cut both in half, deframe and relieve window holes, remove one set of toilet vents and same end hatch.

Glue together then all 2E except the recut toilet

These were a bit of a prinitng disaster, the one above failed as the 3 supports broke.

Then my FEP ripped!!

Redid at a different agle, half OK due to mess on resin.

But the top is not level, will do a 3rd time with back flat on build plate. I could file but will try a reprint first.

I think the issue is partly resin and partly the slicing.

I think the gas cabinets are about 10% too large so will reprint. The Swindon style battery boxes are fine.

The serpentine hoppers are OK. Need 2 or 3 more.

The D84 is looking good
