Keith George
Just a simple question that I really should know, but my memory is not as good as it used to be. How do you separate the body and the power bogie from a Lima Warship.? Thanking you, Keith.
RMweb Gold stovepipe Posted March 16, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 16, 2018 Haven't got a warship, but all the other Lima locos I have just need the body springing out over the internal clips, near the doors usually.
Steamport Southport
The clips are the little round holes by the doors with a bigger clip in the middle of the body where the nameplate is. Just gentle slide a thin lolly ice stick or something similar like plasticard near the middle and slide and it comes off easily. To remove the power bogie just loosen the two screw on the bottom of the bogie and it lifts upwards. To remove the unpowered bogie, just pull the metal slide and it drops out. Be careful of the big heavy weight though. Not the sort of thing that you want dropping on your foot. Jason
