No, the 'Burma Road' was - and still is, in part - north of Claremorris ....... with that exception, which I presume refers to its remoteness, most such names refer to notable events around the world when they came into existence ( 'Sebastopol', 'Klondike', 'Jubilee' etc. ) but I don't know the significance of 'Bulgaria' ............
