SouthernBlue80s
I have the 00 Dapol 73124 which I have lightly weathered. And as most of you know it is in the wrong colour. The ends I have managed to get away from being too lemon yellow...but the sides are the wrong blue end of. I have tried living with it...but it bothers me. I do not have the kit or space to do re-sprays. Can someone point me in the direction of someone that does resprays on here please The loco as it stands. Thanks Steve Edited July 6, 2018 by SouthernBlue80s
RMweb Premium AdeMoore Posted July 6, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 6, 2018 I see http://www.crphillips-models.co.uk/index.html recommended a few places most recently here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/115550-southern-railway-loco-a-z-churminster-stowe-magna/. Search Chris Philips on Tony’s thread you’ll see how often he’s mentioned! No personal experience of him myself. Cheers Ade

rob D2
TBh There’s not that many that many that do it commercially. Leeslocos on here, but he normally has a backlog as very popular Or I think cambo74 has started doing them.

37114
Or get a can of railmatch spray , mask and maskol the yellow and windows and spray it yourself ......could be fun could be a disaster ! I agree with Rob, I have done loads of resprays using Railmatch aerosols. Take your time masking up and don't spray each coat too thickly. Use the HMRS prefix transfers and you will be fine and have change from £15
