Normally I would expect parcels and luggage to be handled within the main building. After all, they will normally arrive with the passengers. The parcels office could be in the lefthand door of the building along with the staff access to the ticket office .

That's looking great Chris, really coming together nicely :)

Thanks Steve

I’m going to look at extending the canopy past the building slightly, something like this

Nothing that can’t be done with a bit of plasticard

WOW, Just bloomin wow mate, really good.:good:

Thanks Andy :)

I’m going to have a second attempt at the canopy some time this weekend, I’d made my mind up and decided the canopy should definitely extended out further.

I’m pretty sure in the real world the canopy would project out further than the roof on the gable end to catch rain water.....otherwise I’d have to put the canopy lower down and have guttering (would look messy in my opinion)

Have you thought what colours you want to end up with Chris?

Is it going to be pale sandstone, or grey limestone, or darker granite?

Are you going to go for bluish slate on the roof, or stone tiles or even brick tiles?

I’m just going to ‘wing it’ same as I did on the pump house and engine shed....but less grubby

The fascia boards, doors, canopy etc will be a combination of light and dark stone in a GWR(ish) stylee

I'm much happier when I do my own thang instead of trying to strictly adhere to prototypes
