There is a chance you could see it. Funny how the last two 158s in the livery are both named. Jack

Not that I'm going to chase about to photograph it, but as I commented yesterday on the Class 56 thread, it's interesting sometimes to trace the workings to see the diagrams that locomotives and units follow. After a quick bit of work using RTT data and I understand that diagrams can be dynamic and will change to meet operational need, with that caveat I've established that NT 158861 started todays diagram at Sheffield working ECS as 5P01 to Retford. From there as 1Y97 to Nottingham, then as 1Y08 to Leeds. After arrival at Leeds it departed as 2H86 to Carlisle, arriving there 2 minutes early at 13.29. It's booked back to Leeds as 2H93, departing at 14.50. Edited December 8, 2020 by 4630

David Bell
Probably not quite what you had in mind when you all started this thread, but here is a DMU masquerading as a rake of coaches. The whole train is comprised of DMU coaches. The picture was taken at Keith

Ben B
A few weeks ago on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, the unexpected return of the W&U Railbus. It hasn't seen use since March 2020 because it is too small to be Covid compliant, but it was out on a staff/training run. Caught me by surprise, I was out for a walk and heard that distinctive air-horn echoing down the valley, so rushed to get a spot where I could get a snap of it.
