Thanks for the link, but I used to make my own version of these from brass tube and rod for my garden line. I used to have a similar style lever in 00 made by (I think) Wrenn as it was part of their fibre based track system.

Hi Andy, I am liking the new sidings.

I have a spare bit of track you can have to finish off your new improved sidings. I am in work on Saturday. But free Sunday if you want to pop around and pick it up?

Cheers, Ade.

Cheers Ade, If I'm back from Amp Sher I'll give you a ring.

Thanks.

A.

Hi Peter, in response to your post from yesterday.

First up a pic of a std Point compared to the one I've shortened, and the Point to the left is against the Board joint so cant go any further to the left. the Std Point would need shortening to much to make it fit.

Here we see a Std Point overlaid the modified Point for a comparison.

And now I've re set the angle from the Main Point.

Hi Andy, I see what you mean. the way you have done it is certainly the best option.

I really must crack on with my layout, just dont seem to be finding the time at the moment.

Cheers Peter.

Is there any truth in the rumour that the Branch Line Society are looking to run a DMU tour down the branch to the disused platform? Would make a good cameo.

Hi Andrew, definitely, definitely, definitely no DMU's mate, there may be some more Locos / 33 or a Blue 56 or 47  when it comes out, or some more Wagons, but definitely, definitely, definitely no DMU's.:)

After the dash down Souf on Wednesday evening, and then the journey home last night, and arriving home in the early hours of this morning, I decided to have a quiet day.

The 3 Autofrogs arrived yesterday, so this morning I up ended the two main boards and I've been able to fit them, complete the wiring and have test with the 08. Then before retiring for Lunch and kip in minute I put the Stock back on the Layout and took a few pics.

It does look a bit over crowded at the moment, but that will change once I send some to the Fiddle Yard and make some more Cards up for a shuffling  Shunting Sequence.

Hi Andy,

Addition you have made looks great, blends in well.

Great news about your sale and pending move.

Thanks Julian on both counts, I just want to get the move done with now, so we hope our offer is accepted.

Careful or the local trainspotters club will start meeting on the old station platform :-)

This Old Gricer got up close and personal with his camera by the Yard entrance.

Nice shot along New Road not seen that before. Whistler does look fabulous.

Thanks Julian, yes that 40 is bute, I love it.

New Road has benefitted from the widening of the Boards and gives nice new photographic possibilities for the future.

Here's another for you.

Your spoiling us Andy, but dont stop lol.

What wooden fencing are you using?

Thanks Julian, The fencing is Peco Flexie Fencing, it's quite good and you get some Field Gates as well as seen on the Yard entrance.
