Another one of the engines that I didnt think Id get, but owing to a more balanced view on railways, decided that the bias to all things North Eastern cant always stand. harkins77 Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 Ok so now Mike owns Facebook,Twitter and RMweb I've heard something that makes me think he's going to try and take on the big superstores now as he was heard to say he is thinking of getting some baskets or at least the comment of can I offer you a basket was definatley heard to be said. That and the powers are strong still with Mike as he mentioned the new Dapol 67 and before I knew it I was asking for one of them when they come in as well as the dummy 66 that is due. Not a big shop, but well stocked, with a good balance of stock. I only popped down for some Plastic Weld, (which Mike didn't have unfortunately), but I left 47 quid lighter, and very happy!!! Another thing I liked is that you can browse without being constantly hassled about "do you need help?"...I hate being in a shop and having the feeling of being 'rushed' out the door. Good luck with your new venture, and I'll be popping back when you get some Plastic Weld in...and those Chivers LNER Thompson and Pidgeon vans!!
