RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted May 12, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 12, 2021 10 hours ago, Ramblin Rich said: Those ponies are remarkably well "trained" Shetlands and similar small breeds often have a lot more personality than larger horses. Many years ago, the Beeb used to broadcast major horsey events like the Horse Of The Year Show. One of the spectacles was called double-scurry, where two ponies towing a cart race around an obstacle course against the clock. Regular winners were a pair of Shetlands called Pablo and Peanuts, driven by Christine Dick. We saw them once live at a horse show in Herne Hill, and in the paddock area Mrs Dick was fettling the cart, while the ponies were trying to bite her bum! 1
hayfield
Brings back some wonderful memories of a holiday in Devon 3 or 4 years ago I also have some colour slides from 50 years ago when Ashburton was still connected and you could wander around all the sidings Am I correct in thinking you can download an application to take photos of them with a smart phone?
