Anyone else a bit worried about the complete change?

RTD to Moffat went well as Moffat can write brilliantly, but this new chap, I think all he has done is a few episodes of Torchwood.

Will anything be as good as Blink or Heaven Sent?

Fast forward to 0.11 and is that the body of a gigantic class 08 morphed into a space ship?...

...or should I come off the medication?

I can see what you mean - a fleeting glimpse of the shape of the front, and I did a double-take.

He;s done a bit more than that outside of Dr Who, and he did write at least a couple of episodes for Dr Who under Moffat. IMO Moffat stayed too long.

Well I have seen it and.

It is OK so far.

Nothing wrong with any actors or actresses.

But feels more like a crime drama than DW.

A few funny moments, but one was so obvious.

But Gatwick Express in the north, very odd.

Interesting techique to make it easier to compress, a free 10% on the broadcast bandwidth. The black bars.

Would compare to an average RTD/SM era episode, no pavement monster but definately no Blink

The episodes where the Doctor regenerates tend to be a bit more low-key in the monster stakes than regular episodes, because there needs to be space for the Doctor's character

to be established (even as it's changing). Added to that, they had a completely new cast of companions to introduce. I thought it was terrific on all counts, and I had to wipe a tear

from my eye when the (fantastic) new version of the music kicked in.
