My grandson is railway mad and getting ready to move onwards. My daughter knows there are clubs in both York and Hull but logistically they are too far away to travel. This query is therefore on her behalf - is there a railway, or other model making group, in the Selby vicinity? The man who runs the Selby show, Ian Kerrison, is a member of Pontefract & Normanton club. I don't know about model railway clubs, but there is definitely a Model Engineering society that run trains in Eggborough Power Station.
