Jeff Smith
Hi all, I will be moving to Land O' Lakes, Florida about 25 miles north of Tampa soon and wondered if there were any British outline modellers anywhere nearby. The nearest club is in New Port Richey but massive HO layouts are not my thing, although I may check them out one day....
Theakerr
Jeff, Rather than assume (we all know the definition) are you aware of the BRMNA - British Railway Modellers of North America? Regards
Jeff Smith
Yes, I used to belong, but it is largely for Canadians.
TheEngineShed
Can't speak for all massive HO layouts, but the club I am a member of in Virginia doesn't have a problem with members running OO scale stock. During open houses or operating sessions, you have to get approval for non-US non-Kadee equipped stock, but that's not that many days out of the year. At 27 scale HO miles long, the main line certainly gives the Blue Pullman a workout, something you can't replicate in most homes.
