peterw
Very much looking forward to taking Westwood Yard to the Burnham show this year. Great opportunity to get a pre Christmas model railway fix or to buy a Christmas present for yourself!
Mark Savage
SHOW CANCELLED Due to a serious outbreak of influenza at the Kings of Wessex school in Highbridge, all external bookings for this weekend have been cancelled by the governing body. 500 pupils have been infected, two of which ended up in hospital. The school in planning to have a deep clean done this weekend and may even close the school. I regret that at this late stage we have no alternative but to cancel the model railway show. My thanks to all the exhibitors and traders who were due to visit us this weekend.
RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted December 11, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 11, 2019 I sincerely hope this outbreak is not connected with the nearby outbreak of Norovirus which is affecting parts of Gloucestershire and North Somerset and restricting hospital access in places. Thank you for the update.

The "Kings of Wessex School" is in Cheddar. CP Edited December 12, 2019 by cp409067
