In other words, it is heavily based on Helvetica medium font but with certain characters and symbols amended to suit the application. Jock Kinnear and his contemparies are the hidden giants of mdoern design, whose influence can not only still be seen on the rail network, but on NHS signage and the motorway and road network signage.
