RMweb Premium ColinK Posted February 26, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 26, 2020 We were planning to go away for the weekend, but all the bad weather means we will be staying at home. That means I might get to the exhibition.
tc
Just about finished getting the stock ready for Minories (GN) ahead of our trip north. The wheels got pretty dirty last time out, and then some oversprayed weathering meant some needed doing again. The wonders of a glass fibre brush and some IPA. Jeremy Davison
Everything is in the process of being made ready - despite the weather!! Looking forward to a good weekend. Cheers Jeremy
JJGottardo
A fun and longish day with an irritating intermittent fault that we think is a broken solder joint in a critical part of the fiddle yard. The exhibition social is underway, excellent hospitality by Preston MRS.
RMweb Premium ColinK Posted March 1, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 1, 2020 I did get to the show today. When I saw it was £8 to get in, I initially thought that was a bit steep. However it was an excellent exhibition full of top quality layouts and good traders, so good value for money, well worth the £8. A nice variety of layouts and they were all running well. The only thing lacking was things for young visitors, perhaps a couple of layouts that kids could operate next year? I spent a fair bit too and got most things on my shopping list. A good day out. RMweb Gold Markwj Posted March 1, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 1, 2020 Went today with my brothers and spent about 5 hours at the show, spent too much of course but loved it loads of modern image which is my favoured era. Loved the apt on Alderford (and the electrics, catenary and era)!!!!

Jeremy Davison
It was good to see everyone at the weekend. Everything is packed away until next year, and we had a good turnout through the doors and overall a good show. Thanks to all that helped, exhibited, traded and to all that came to see the show.
