pH
"He was charged with one count of train-wrecking." I don't think I've ever seen that charge before!

But I find the comment above in the OP equally puzzling. Theme or inspiration to do what, exactly? Model the scene? Crash your engines off the edge of your layout? RMweb Gold daveyb Posted April 2, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 2, 2020 I meant model the scene, I'm not sure you'd want to drive your locos off the edge! I was going to post it in the Street running thread...
Trev52A
That 's a model, surely? Trevor

dave1905
Back in the 1970's at the Port of Brownsville (southern tip of Texas), a crew was shoving a cut of empty gons on a track that ended up perpendicular to the edge of the wharf. The engineer missed a stop signal and shoved a car off the edge of the wharf into the side of a retired ocean liner tied up at the wharf, and the coupler on the car poked a hole in the hull of the ship (well above the water line so there was no danger of sinking.) Lawsuits ensued.
Wendell1976
I grew up not too far from the Port of Los Angeles. That idiot should also be charged for an act of terrorism. Wendell Idaho, USA
