The slack has been taken up on the drive chains of course! File under 'Prototype for Everything'. SirBud Posted August 15, 2020 Share Posted August 15, 2020 While researching Sentinel CE locomotives I came across a fascinating history of a very long lived loco that was purchased by the South Australian Gas Company back in 1926/27. The story is printed in a copy of Light Railways No. 146 July 1999 that can be downloaded for free at http://media.lrrsa.org.au/cais146/Light_Railways_146.pdf Well worth a read if you have any interest in these locos.
