Guest Belgian
Obviously I am the kiss of death for this long-running thread. A clue: it's not what you'd expect of a Danger Area. Steve K
Ah! It's Fleetwood, just South-East of the Fisherman's Friend factory. Forgive me - I'm having a mental block about displaying more than one square at a time, but on the basis that you don't mind (it is the right answer, I promise!), I'll get on and offer a square of my own in just a tick. OK. No point in starting a new post: Clues - well, nearby you might find references to the Mayor of London and some decidedly crooked goings on, while to the North, there's what sounds like an ideal home for retired class 47s. dagrizz
As it happens, I drove through Chesterfield today........ Curbar Edge today was somewhat more scenic than Sheepbridge Ironworks though, but there weren't many trees. There are plenty of trees in the next square........ Bulleidboy
Clue; a single species of tree, but more than one of them. Well as nobody else has found it, Sevenoaks: Next up: The next square is the end of the line but contains an easy to find label. As a clue, this fits with my love of Euclidean geometry! Bulleidboy
I got the clue, but couldn't get the OS site to work properly last night! Never mind.... :-( I use www.fonant.com/osmap.html To post a new square: zoom-in in fonant to 1:25000, right click on your chosen square and then save as a ".png" file (which should only contain ONE square). Then attach the file to your post. To post the previous answer: zoom-in to 1:50000, right click on the square and save as above. Note this will save a block of FOUR squares but the position in this block of the one you wanted does vary (don't know why). Mike
