TomJ
I normally spray my track with Railmatch Sleeper Grime prior to ballasting. However I can’t find it anywhere locally or that can post it. Any alternatives that are a good colour closeness? Needs to be an aerosol as I don’t have an airbrush Thanks.

RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted August 8, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 8, 2020 (edited) I’ve used this suggested by one of the chaps on here who works for them, just search Montana spray paints for various stockists. additionally I used their ‘basalt’ on these modules. Edited November 8, 2020 by PaulRhB Add photos of second colour basalt 1

RMweb Gold Revolution Mike B Posted August 9, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 9, 2020 Yep, another shout for Montana - they do some other colours too which are really useful for adding different shading to the weathering. 1
ijo58
I’ve used numerous products over the years and have now settled on using the brown wash by VALEJO. If you live ion the North UK then Boyes stock it or you can use Agra’s Earthshade by CITADEL
Neil0202
Regarding Rail match Sleeper Grime, does anyone know what the Vallejo Model Air equivalent is, or is very close to?
RMweb Gold teaky Posted December 2, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 2, 2020 I can't say with absolute certainty because you'd have to have sprayed them both alongside each other but to me the following two look fairly close. Model Color 70.984 Flat Brown https://acrylicosvallejo.com/en/product/hobby/model-color-en/flat-brown-70984/ Model Air 71.080 Rust https://acrylicosvallejo.com/en/product/hobby/model-air-en/rust-71080/
