Henning
Hi, last weekend I could finish the next section of my n-layout Midsomer-County, the Finch-Moor. On your way into the moor you can see an old clapper bridge, an awful dog “of Blackwood-Castleâ€, a bog man in the water, some mallards and a lot of other details. cactustrain
Congratulations, that's really rather good. It all looks very natural and not at all contrived.
pointstaken
Another layout where it would be difficult to tell the difference between the model and the real thing. Henning, that really is excellent work - very well done, sir ! Dennis

RMweb Premium carlwooduk Posted June 1, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 1, 2010 Wonderful scenic work Henning, I am about a month from starting to add the "Greenery " and buildings to my layout and your Web pages will be bookmarked for reference. The stone walling looks good around the Ghost House!. Who is the manufacturer ? Carl

Henning
Hi, Thank you all very much for the complements! Carl: For the walling I have used “Mauerplatten†from HEKI which come in a thickness of ca. 2-3 mm with stone engraving on one side. Cut it in stripes as high as your wall should be, cut every stripe over the whole length in two parts, take two stripes with stone engraving outside and glue them together. It is no problem when you can’t cut it exactly in the middle – no old wall is exactly in a straight line. After forming and gluing it into the landscape I have broken the caping and filled it slightly up with NOCH granite plaster. At last weathering and greening could be done for the final result. Have a lot of fun in building walls! Henning

RMweb Premium Kris Posted April 26, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 26, 2011 You have made the church blend in very nicely with the rest of the layout, is it still removable?
Henning
Yes, the layout is still removeable - (and I hope that I can get the first price at the NRM in Birmingham one time)
