Caley Jim
The following was posted on the CRA forum this morning :- It seems to be an open secret (though I first got it from the film crew who are embarking on the third series of Inside Glasgow Central, who want some assistance from us, again) that Avanti are scheming a record-breaking run from Euston to Glasgow Central HL on Thursday 17th June. The schedule, which is pretty remarkable, is to be found at: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:S00619/2021-06-17/detailed 3 hours 53 minutes if my maths is correct. Average speed calculated (by someone else) as 103.26 mph or 166.18 km/h in new money. Jim 1
