d winpenny
This is my thread for my first O gauge layout having previously modelled in OO. The layout will be set in the late 80s early 90s so lots of triple grey and heavy freight. I will update the thread when I can and there is something worth posting. pwr
You've got a good start there David. I am still in two minds about a 60 myself as its slightly outside of my BR Blue/Large logo time frame for when I run diesels but its such an impressive prototype and equally impressive model. d winpenny
They are absolute beasts of a model, I really like them I knew I wanted at least one in the fleet. My preferred traction is the 56 and thankfully Heljan has obliged in that department I’m going to try and keep my fleet at a sensible level (famous last words) and not just flood the layout with locos as tempting as that may be. david
D6775
Can't deny I was tempted with that 37667 when it came up. Too far out of area though!!

d winpenny
Well that’s another step forward all the boards topped with 9mm ply next job is the legs and seeing if it all fastens together properly it’s all lined up nicely so fingers crossed david Edited June 19, 2022 by d winpenny Re inserting pictures
d winpenny
Well yesterday the wood for my legs turned up and in typical fashion I miscalculated how many screws I had so I’m currently about half way done assembling the layout david Edited June 19, 2022 by d winpenny Re inserting pictures
