pitbull1845
A few little projects have been completed, nothing exciting just things on the to do list. Cambria kit Osprey YKA has had the stanchions fitted and loaded with track lengths. The FEA-S has had its panels applied too, just waiting for some track to be loaded. Another project is under way too, not really sure how it's going to turn out but thought I'd have a go. The coaches are currently in the works receiving attention. pitbull1845
A new month, so I suppose a new update is due. The first barrier coach conversion is well under way. I've started on the other one too, the bogies have been refurbished and have recently arrived at the depot. But before unloading, the 66 needs to be moved out of the way. It was shoved forward and refuelled before heading off to Westbury light engine.

In other news, 66731 was used to shunt the recently completed barrier coach into number 1 siding, the other one has just gone into the spray shop. Thanks for looking.
pitbull1845
Evening, Decided to add a splash of colour to the layout and painted the buildings. These have now been leased to Network Rail, which seem to be increasing the workload at Eastbury sidings.
Craig1989
Looks good I see you done the barrier coaches. Out of interest what did you use for the glazing as I got 2 resin kits off of eBay around Christmas time last year and just need to sort the glazing before assembling them. cheers Craig

Purnu
Hi Scott. I’d just like to ask you about the low relief warehouses on the back of your layout. I’d like to do something similar myself and I am just looking for a bit of advice. Can you point me in the direction of where you obtained them from? Are they from a kit or are they scratch built? Enjoying the updates. Regards. Edited August 10, 2022 by Purnu Grammar

Never had any issues with the company and have purchased a fair few things from them over the years. 1

pitbull1845
Afternoon, I've finally finished the two barrier coaches, they're not perfect but they've come out OK for a first attempt. Just need the ROG 47 from Bachmann now. I've finally rebadged 37099 with the new colas logos, it's been a long time coming! 37421 still has the old ones, but as its weathered I may just leave that one. Nothing else to report I'm afraid, no new stock or developments on the layouts. But I'll keep you posted Thanks for looking
pitbull1845
A full house with the barrier wagons and coaches. Shame I sold my Arlington pair a few years back when I was going through my divorce, wished I'd pawned them instead!

RMweb Gold Sweet pea Posted September 8, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 8, 2022 Nice little video. I remember Russell Bridge around the circuits. It's great that you are going to revitalise the layout. I will be watching with great interest. 👍
Csalem
I remember this layout being in the first (?) issue of Rail Express. Provided a lot of inspiration to my own layout I built during the late-1990s / early 2000s. Nice to see it still survives.
