Moderators AY Mod Posted October 25, 2021 Moderators Share Posted October 25, 2021 Another user sent me a note yesterday on this too. It may relate to a comment which has been subsequently deleted by the user. Could you go to the notification, right click, and paste the link address in here please so I can investigate further. stevel
I forgot to follow this question when I posted it, and missed your reply, but it has happened again today. kitpw
I've had the same when following a notification of a post by Mikkel in the Farthing Layouts, not just today but on the last several occasions. I've used a work-around from the "View New Content" blog listings which works ok - I assumed it was probably something in my system, not RMweb, but perhaps not! Moderators AY Mod Posted February 11, 2022 Moderators Share Posted February 11, 2022 I can see that you received a notification for a blog entry but that it was subsequently deleted. Therefore its not a system fault.

stevel
that's weird, because the blog entry will open from the blog page.

RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted February 12, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 12, 2022 Hi all, there's a bug in the system so when I make a new post it doesn't show up in the blog list. However, if I make another post immediately afterwards and then delete it, it somehow "flushes the system" and the original post shows up. But I now realize that you all get a notification about the deleted post, rather than the proper one. Sorry about that, I'll see if there's another way to overcome the problem. Maybe if I make the false post first, then the proper one afterwards 2 1

I've tried doing this in the above mentioned way but I'm afraid it didn't work, sorry about that. Looks like it only happens to posts that are saved as a draft rather than posted immediately. I've seen it happen with a couple of other people's blogs also. So just posting immediately seems to be the solution. Will try that next time.
