I have a secondhand class 08 that has a very small decoder in it that works fine. For my new one I bought a Rails 8 pin decoder but it is too big and the body will not fit back on. Any help gratefully received. Products change and I put decoders into my Bachmann 08s some time ago. For what it’s worth, I used Hatton’s 8-pin Compact Direct decoders. They fit and they work well.
